The Swedish S30 index rose 0.3%, while the Danish C25 index rose 0.4%. 285 out of 917 companies in the KPNGX index delivered a positive return last week. All sectors fell during the week. Academic & educational services fared best, although the sector fell 0.4%. Basic matierials, healthcare, financials, technology and real estate all outperformed the KPNGX index. Utilities was the worst performing sector last week after falling 5.1%.

CS MEDICA A/S (+77%) is a Danish medical technology company. The company specialises in the development of medical devices. The portfolio includes products containing medical cannabis (CBD), with the main focus on dietary supplements and various treatments. The products are used, for example, by patients suffering from psoriasis, osteoarthritis and hair loss. The largest operations are in the Nordic market, where the products are resold under own brand.
CS MEDICA A/S announced last week that it has intensified discussions with potential investors on an issue of 5-60 MDKK at 31.50 per share. At the time of writing, the share is trading at 17.65 with a market capitalisation of 194 MDKK. The stock has risen 154% year to date.

WntResearch AB and Calmark Sweden AB also rose to the top among Nordic healthcare stocks after increases of 44% and 37%, respectively. Modulight Oyj was the worst performer, falling 45%.
